Tagaytay in January

 #Tagaytay2021

Last opportunity to visit Tagaytay before kids online class resume on Monday. Our kuya didn't make it due to his #WFH duty. Another reason we went out is to celerate our Dad's birthday too! Since Tagaytay is the nearest to go place with cold weather, we opted to bring the celebration at Picnic grove. A celebration with less expenses. I prepared the food from home, gas up, drive away,  pay entrance fees and voila! We enjoyed the day, our time together, the nature, the cold wind and good weather remembering the celebrator of life this day from afar and grateful to the Creator of all. Entrusting that God would touch his life and choose Jesus all the more in all aspect of his life. I thank God for all His favors upon him and praying to live a life only pleases the Lord.

We love you Dad!

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Enjoy Jesus everyday!

We love you so much ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

Pandemic, quarantine, lockdown...

It's been 9 months then that we fret to go out. It is already unhealthy to my children to lock themselves in the room getting busy in online games and no physical activities done. Para maiba naman ang place, we spent Christmas eve at their lolo's place in Taguig.

The next day, we visited our departed beloved to their respective grave before returning home.

On the 26th of December, I brought my children to the beach resort here in Cavite not to swim but just spent some time to breath fresh air, walk on a shore, collect some shells and bond together wih our furbabe Summer.

Truly a relaxing time to be connected in nature than brought them to the malls.

Acienda Designer Outlet

Last Octover 1, I celebrated my 43rd birthday. Oh! Yeah! I say it loud and proud..43!!! And this was my first time to have time alone on my special day. I tried to invite my sister to accompany me but she had her own errand. I guess the Lord wanted me spend the day just the "two" of us (me with God alone).

I got there by own car from Molino. It took one hour drive. Good to see that it has huge alotted space for parking and it's free!
I arrived at 2PM, so the first thing I did is to look for a place to dine because I'm already hungry and I just tried the Windmealz Cafe.

Windmealz Cafe

To make the day livelier (nakakantok yung oras ng dating ko..2pm), I ordered coffee and bento.
I supposed to give a thumb if only they serve this coffee in a coffee cup since it was consumed for dine in.

There is nothing special in this cafe, I just got curious to see what they offer. They're also selling Windmealz merchandise here like this mug.

There are more options of restaurants, kiosks to choose from wherever you feel to dine. Always have bottled water on the go. They don't serve glass of water even if you dine in (that was my experience in Windmealz, I am not sure with other restaurants).

I visited the place out of curiousity and ended up with two items that I bought on sale!

Seize the day and took more photos around.

For remembrance of visit you can have a photo souvenir for only P50 for a hard copy. You can also grab a soft copy from the Facebook page of Acienda Designers Outlet.

Acienda Designer Outlet is the first true international outlet mall in the Philippines.

Father's Day Fun @ Fun Factory Food Park

Hubby is on last week of  his vacation and soon enough one day he will leave again to work for ten months on board. He doesn't have a chance on every/all special holidays and occasions to celebrate with us due to his kind of job. Not until last Sunday, June 18, 2017 we had a chance to celebrate "Father's Day" @ Fun Factory Food Park

Fun Factory Food Park is the first 3D themed food park located in Bacoor, Cavite. It is operated by Carnival Food Park which also have in Marikina. They had their soft opening last June 9, 2017 but had been closed after a couple of days for some renovations and readily reopened for full operations in June 13, from 4pm to 12MN. So as family of Food Park enthusiast, we opted to visit the place last Sunday to celebrate Father's Day.

As expected due to holiday (Father's Day), it's Sunday also and people are curious what to find in there as it was just reopened days ago,It was congested that time! The parking area is small but luckily we quickly got a spot to park our car. As we enter the food park, there are lots of long lines to order in every stall. So it really took us hours to serve everything that we ordered.

Here's what we ordered from the Fun Factory Food Park:

For appetizer, we ordered the colored Nachos..Yes! literally colored in green, red and purple nacho chips with lots of beef and veggies toppings and a white sauce. This nacho is unusual than those served in yellow colored corn Nachos with ground meat and cheese sauce.

Colored Nachos

We also ordered Burritos and Chicken Quesadillas. This is served separately which we put on a single platter to maximize our table. Each serving comes with nacho chips with cheese sauce and dips. I like quesadillas more than burritos ☮☮☮☮

served with mayonnaise, salsa and hot sauce
Senorita Menu and Price list: :))

My youngest son loves steak so much and whenever we visit any food park, he used to order it. Unfortunately this steak looks bland. It lacks some parsley to garnish that would make it looks appetizing. I have no chance to taste it because I know kulang pa sa kanya yan.  So when I asked my son if is it really tasted good? His only replied was "Ok lang!".

Steak P180

My eldest son loves Sisig so much. So as my youngest, he used to scout a good one wherever restos we dine-in that serves Sisig. He rated eight for this one.."masarap pero kulang pa sa lasa  eh!"

If you are burger-natic, then this two patties burger from Burp! is a must-try! It comes with fries too!) The patties are made with pure beef and it's really juicy! If you think two patties are not enough then make it triple to quadruple!

Seafood Fiesta- P670
My fave of them all is the Seafood Fiesta with sweet spicy sauce by Finding Seafood. It has a big crab in it, mussels, clams and shrimp and choose what sauce you'd like to blend in. It would be really fiesta if they add squid in it! It was really tasty but I cannot rate them perfect 10 if only they serve bigger size of mussels...they're too small and had almost no meat inside. Anyway, sauce ang nagdala! ☮

REFRESHMENT:
Red Tea @ The Truck Food Park
MARIKINA
Blue Lemonade by Squeezed
@ South StrEAT Gourmand
SILANG, CAVITE
We did not order the famous colored lemonade drinks in a fish bowl this time as usually on our table for refreshment in other two food parks we have visited-- The Truck Food Park in Marikina and South StEAT in Silang.

We were surprised for the longest line we see to order for that drinks here and another long line to claim it..huh! It is totally a waste of time! Thank God we brought our own bottled water and we saved P160 for the drinks!

Observations/*tips:

1. The Location is accessible.

2. The parking area is small.

3. The food park itself is surprisingly small.
But they have tables and chairs located at the open area with tent and at the upper level to accommodate diners.

*That's the first thing you must look for before placing your order so crew could easily locate where to serve your food.

*Avoid going to food park on rainy days unless you are ready to get wet :)

4. More variety of foods to choose from.

*Ikutin nyo muna lahat ng stall to check what food they serve that makes you interested to taste.
*Ask their best seller para siguradong masarap ang makakain nyo ๐Ÿ˜Š

My family loves to eat but we have different choice of food that suit our palate. So, we consider food park like Fun Factory as best place for us to dine where we could select on every menu that each one wanted to eat. Some like Asian food, Western or even Mediterranean that you could find at food park. You could order different cuisines and place it on your table so you could try them all in a single dine. Surely that everyone's tummy would really be happy!

Power!
Happiest Father's Day!

South StrEAT Gourmand Container Park

Food Parks are sprouting out everywhere! It is an open space that set up with chairs and tables inside the park and surrounded with different food stalls where you can choose, order and try diffferent cuisines in a single dine.

To Southerener like me who doesn't want to risk driving up North due to expected heavy traffic, It is a good news for us to spot a nice food park with good food of course located here in the South. So when you are travelling to Tagaytay, you could probably stop by to the newest food park in South-- The South StrEAT Gourmand Container Park. Opened only in February 2017, now its in full operation 7 days a week from 4pm to 11pm ( or 10pm only..but I'm pretty sure they're not open 24hrs)

Located at Sta . Rosa-Tagaytay Road.
Here are the foods we tried and definitely given two thumbs up!

Tip:
The best way to know of good food they serve before you order is to ask their best sellers.
